Dichavao intends to transform art into language (or vice versa)
Dichavao is a Cuban expression that means, “Of course”. it is a way that ratifies the obviousness and common sense of an experience. Phrases like this are used in all cultures to say more with less. Proverbs are an example of this, they remind us in a simplified way of life lessons drawn from collective experience.
In this way, each country manages to transfer its popular and collective wisdom from generation to generation. Thanks to this, traditions, values and famous beauty are preserved.
What is surprising about this cultural phenomenon is how we find the same teaching with relatively the same proverb in each language.
That is why we are making Dichavao remember that: The silent majority is responsible for what we are today, for our imaginary and universal identity.
